People first
We aim to publish pages that are genuinely useful to Halloween families, horror fans and Australian communities. We do not intentionally mass-publish thin pages purely to capture search traffic.
Who creates the content
Articles should carry a real byline where appropriate. Contributor background and why a person is suitable to write or review a topic should be clear on the page.
Research and sources
Factual features should use traceable sources. Haunted-history pages distinguish documented history from local folklore, rumours and paranormal claims. Event, venue, ticketing and availability information should be checked against current official sources before publication.
AI-assisted work
AI may help with research organisation, drafting or editing. When it materially assists an article, we identify that process. AI output is not treated as a factual source; claims still require human review and appropriate sources.
Images and embeds
We use original, licensed, permissioned or appropriately embeddable media. An official YouTube or Spotify embed does not replace original commentary on the page.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, contact us. We may update the page and its reviewed/modified date when the underlying content is materially changed.
Advertising and affiliate independence
Advertising, affiliate links and sponsored placements are labelled. Payment does not automatically turn an advertiserβs claims into editorial fact, and sponsored placement is kept visually separate from independent content.
User submissions
Community content can be moderated before publication. We reserve the right to remove unsafe, unlawful, misleading or inappropriate submissions and to disable advertising around content that is unsuitable for advertisers.
