Privacy
Tumut Halloween collects only the information needed to operate features such as map listings, community submissions, analytics, advertising bookings and optional email subscriptions.
Analytics
First-party analytics may record page paths, campaign information and privacy-preserving visitor hashes. The system is designed not to store raw IP addresses in the newer first-party analytics tables. Google advertising and other embedded services may process data under their own policies. Where required, advertising consent is handled through the applicable Google-certified consent controls.
The optional year-round reader newsletter requires explicit signup and confirmation. It is separate from marker-owner operational/seasonal communications. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe mechanism and do not require an account to opt out. Newsletter buttons may use campaign-level click measurement so we can see whether a campaign or clearly labelled sponsor generated traffic; those links do not carry a subscriber ID.
Affiliate and third-party links
When you follow an affiliate, booking or retailer link, the destination service may use its own cookies or tracking to attribute a purchase or booking.
Map and community data
Information you submit for a public listing may be displayed publicly according to the listing/privacy options you choose. Management tokens and administrative information should not be published.
